XRAY parts is harder than Tamiya !

I have a Xray T3 today. and some details, I am not happy with. For example, dampers are worthless. leaking oil. C-hubs cracks in casting joint limits.
Is it the same problem with the 416X?
What is an Xray T3 Host today after 2 races?
Maybe the wrong forum igent but try
How much does a Tamiya 416X costs?

On top of that the parts are much more fragile, 3 arms in two times out with the car that never would have broke in my XRay. So I'm going to end up with a bucket full of rear arms by the end of this year.
I’m not one to give up quickly on something so I’ll continue to try and make this work it just going to be frustrating. I know it’s got be possible seeing it’s won so many titles and 2 of the fastest drivers at our track or using this car.
Enough venting for now hopefully things will get better soon.
If anyone has tips on severe oversteer please post.

Sounds like you need to completely go through your car and rebuild it with a kit setup. Follow Jilles's videos when building it. I have raced xray cars for the past 2 years and still do. I also own a 416x that works perfectly and have no complaints.

I actually did completely rebuild it this weekend before trying to use it again on Sunday. It did get better but still oversteers at slower speeds and turning fairly tight. This is why I believe it may be the servo saver I'm using.
New one should arrive tomorrow and I'll be trying it on Thur.

Jilles latest setup from the snowbirds race is very good My 416X and WE both work very well with this setup. Pay attention to droop settings compared to ride height as they are a very sensitive tuning aid.

Don't bother with the Tamiya servo saver it moves quit easliy
everyone I know uses a kimbrough. By far the best around
try laying your back shocks down one hole
If not go back to the book settings

I thought the kimbrough saver's arm was too short so you can't get full steering?

I recently picked up a 416we after owning 4 T2 007's for the last 2 years and I have to say this car is a mother f#$% to drive. It has a tremendous amount of low speed steering which makes it difficult to keep from oversteering but yet it pushes when you get on the throttle. I know I'm new to this car and need to rethink the setup compared to an Xray but it just does not seem right. I've tried numerous things to no avail so far. I'm going to try an actually Tamiya servo saver instead of the black Kimbroug I have and hope it fixes my oversteer issue.
