Actually, thought I better post a pic of the car as it's setup for 13.5 at the moment...

http://www.thard.co.uk/download/file...=111&mode=view

It's a little, erm messier.... although there is a reason for it... can you guess why?

Hmmm, will be interesting to hear about the data in your data logger. I recently saw a (unnamed ) friend of mine running one too. He was apparantly gathering info for a certain RC Car Racing game that is eagerly awaited

That sounds promising ! Id love to have a good PC/RC Sim . Ive tried the serpent one and it doesnt feel right... disconnected. It was actually harder than driving my real rc car. I just hope theres good HID drivers for my radio gear and not have to use a jack in the box controller. arent my pc and rc both using 2.4 gig for interfacing anyways ?

I did back to back testing with the LRP Sphere TC and the new Orion ESC when it first hit the states. The TC setting mode feels a lot like the Sphere with punch setting 1 or 2, brake setting 1 or 2, and 0 setting for drag brake, but with the feeling of less resistance, not more punch, just more power throughout the whole powerband. It's also fully programmable by PC, so we've been playing around with the settings a bit but basically keep going back to the stock TC profile which Hara came up with.

Cool, because I really like the look of the Orion and it sounds similar to the Nosram ISTC (im running one now) .

Well origonally I was usint the TC profile but After I drove it I felt it was for adapted for hotter motors. We are kind of sticking to 13.5 around here and the Agressive profile #1 I felt was better suited to it. As for the LRP and comparing.... Pretty close ! But the KO was more $ and no fan or heat sink or wires or even a capacitor. I'm surprised it came with instructions. Oh and btw, DONT RUN IT WITHOUT A CAPACITOR ! even though it says nothing about in the instructions. What I like most about it is the archatecture. The sensor harness and fan plug in under the power wires and its very STEALTH.

WOW!! That is a beautiful body! How did you mount it so well and have the wheels perfectly aligned like that?

I have a question for you guys:

When you are running lipo batteries with this car, and you have to add weight to get to XXXXg for race limits, where do you typically put the weight? Some people rung a strip down the center of the chassis, some on top of the battery, and some on the outside of the battery. Has anyone found the best way to do this or is it more of a feel type thing? I feel like now I am over thinking it.

Randy....in case you don't know who this is...e-mail me when you get your order

Lets see .. I have 1.5 ounces in the center of the chassis towards the back, 1 ounce in front of the batteries , and a custom "Chedda Bob" steel tray that fits in the battery slots. The steel tray weighs 3.25 ounces. All The weight is low and the car is balenced nicely.

Ok, I guess I can add mine to the mix, though I don't have any off-body pics since I added a Novak Sentry to it...
