Would putting a lower shore of foam tires in the rear make it hook up more? I'm running 42's in front and rear.

If you don't mind buying tires a little more often, I'd say definitely go lower. Depends on your track surface and temperature.
I myself normally run 37 shore, front and rear in Houston. Its like a 95 to 100 degrees on average racing days.

ideal compound is 37 all around, i have seen racers go down as low as 35 on nitro touring cars at some races. i myself run 45 front and 42 rear where we run at the lot and put on 37 when we travel to the races. basically when you make the rear softer you increase traction, however if it is too soft you will get a push because of the chassis roll.

I mainly race on a parking lot in Kansas City, I think I will try the 37's. Thanks for the help.

I know that the bearings around the diffs are the same size as the reflex, but not sure about the rest, I have a reflex and a g4 and could check.

dino.tw: is that the prototype steering that team magic is working on? looks like the railing is still there huh... i wonder how it works and when it will be out in the market. my steering in my evo is okay so far... i give it a buff once in awhile with a metal polisher using a dremel and it really helps remove the groove on the railing!
