I believe that is true, yes.

For me, probably easier to try and make a 90/120 fit!! Rather than get a 95, then send back for software.

Very strainge! I checked everything over and yes it was the esc. Ive heard this happen to this esc before. I understand that my 120 is in germany now.

Whats general practice for this kind of failure in germany GM? Will i get a new replacement?

Also just wondering if it would be possible to have my esc updated with the latest firmware aswell.

Ive really missed my 120 this weekend at the UK national. I could be barely do 4 1/2 minutes with an lrp esc on 5cell mod. Reminds me what a great esc it is!

I never had this happen before .. actually I don't know of a speedo acting like that unless you remove the caps .. then you will blow up the fets and it stops

in case of failure a factory reset works wonders

thanks,

120/90 and sand down the top heatsink (make sure no metal gets on the curcuit board when sanding of the speedo so use some cleaning gum or similar at the open end of the case

GM-GENIUS 95 im Schrumpfschlauch f. 1:12 Order number 2898.12

1 word .. Don't!!

never take a 120/90 out of it's case
the fets are GLUED to the case and you will rip them off the curcuit board when trying to take the case off

yes it's updateable to fw7.2

Anyone know the return procedure for firmware update?

I have the address in Kircheim but as no one from Graupner can be bothered to talk to me or call me back after a day of trying I'm stuck as how to proceed as I believe there is a charge.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi martin,

Can I have a good starting point setup for the GM120 with a 6 delta sensored ?

It's for a big track, when we need runtime...

run sensorless, much more efficient and more torque

With Sensorless things are so much more simple, and personally i nearly always prefer the "feel". The amount of torque can be a little difficult to get used to, especially on a small track, but for me, once i got used to it, I much prefer it.

As Martin also says, it is better for runtime as well. Sensored can sometimes have more top speed at the end of the main straight, but there is only 1 main straight usually - where as you benifit from the torque coming off every corner. I think you essentially just run it on std profile, setting 2 or 3 and then drive! I just gave mine to Chris to setup when i first put it in the car!!!
