what is the class ran at your track? the RC18T or B version I like, 4wd and pretty fast too with modular electronics if you get them. Only issue is slop in the steering.

I run Associated and was looking at the AE car. It's preference.

I haven't tried one but I'd get the 18t because it's 4wd and I've heard its stronger also.

my 5 year old has an 18t and ran it around our track for about a month without breaking it at all. he now races in novice class in a b4.

point is... if a 5 year old, wall hitting, pole smashing, jump flipping kid can drive one and not break it, I think they are pretty durable.

it depends if you like 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive. i had a AE 18B and i didn't really like the steering. mine was very sloppy and the stock servo sucked! i never broke anything on it tho and it took a beating. i've heard the mini-t is pretty sloppy. if i were you, i'd look at the x-ray 18t for 4-wheel drive.
