Default Ebay seller fee?

I was thinking about selling some RC items on Ebay. What is the seller fee? There is piles of information about billing options and credit card accounts, but I can't actually find anything about the specific fee. Funny that....

There is no set fee. They take a percentage of the total amount the auction ends at. There are different percentages depending on what the value is.
It should be on the site somewhere.

ugh.

so they get you on the insertion fee (if you use a 'reserve'), and then they get you on the final fee. great....

Even worse it after you pay Ebay the insertion fee and the final cost fee you more than likely get paid with Paypal...well ebay owns Paypal now and that's another 3%. Be prepared to lose about 10% off the total when all said and done.

You still can't beat the amount of publicity you get on ebay and when youset a price you don't have 20 people emailing you to trade or hagle. Worth the 10% to me sometimes!

my sentiments exactly. For a popular item that will sell well ebay, even with the fees, is the way to go. The average ebay buyer is not a racer and is more willing to pay a better price. The average RC board buyer is a hardcore racer and mostly buys used when a smoking deal can be cut.
