Default Broke and Brushless

hello,

Just blew 300 bucks on the new vector 6.5 brushless motor and sphere competiton esc. Replaced the rainbow wires with all black wiring, and i must admit, with a good soldering iron, wasnt to much of a pain to do. Anway, set up of the esc seemed quite easy, except for this new set up they offer which lets you set automatic braking, number and type of cells, etc. I seem to be stuck on the lighting sequence for the set ups. Anyone whos running this brushless set up should know what i mean? Alright, any help as to how you read the flashing lites for the advanced programming mode would be greatly apprecieated.

P.s anyone notice a slight sparking when you direct solder the battery leads off the esc to the batterys? Is this an issue? Also do the brushless motors have a little higher pitched sound to them? Noticed mine seemd a little louder then most brushed motors?

what did you do with the instructions? the sequence is right is there in the instructions. Or you can download the instructions from the AE website. The little spark is fine, and the higher pitch motor is fine.

ps, if you hold the set botton down while you switch on the speed control, you return the settings back to default.
