Is that a replacement chassis for the Hara? And what was the cost since I can't find it on their site?

Those are Servo Saver Savers made by Powell Racing Components. They are not on our website. E-mail us and ask for part #2340.

That particular chassis is 2.5mm. We plan to offer it in 2.25mm as well. The bottom pod plate will also be available along with an optional CF bumper. Cost is T.B.D. but will be competitive.

OK, Doug!

When will they be available? Because these thicker chassis will most likely be used for carpet, you could probably eliminate the cutouts in the front portion of the chassis, as we need more stiffness in that area anyway. You would need a cut out for servo saver clearance for those that want to mount their servo flat for the old style front end.

On another subject, OD sent you some old style front arms that your were going to try and mill down for us, any success with that? No one offers those arms milled to allow for smaller tire diameters. You would sell a ton of them if they were available. Especially now that the Speed Merchant did so well at the Cleveland race.

Crashby,
I reduced the size of the front cutouts, leaving the location of the cutout for the servo saver where it was on the stock chassis.

Funny, you should ask about the arms. It took awhile to come up with a repeatable set up. I just sent a set back to OD for approval/testing. He should have them in a day or so.

Doug,

Will the 2.25mm chassis be a good replacement for the original one? I just want to know cause I want to go back to the Hara, but the chassis is to thin and tweaks to easy. I run on asphalt with my AH-12. I have had my local hobby shop order the parts you have shown from hotbodies, but no luck on getting them. If yours is a direct replacement I now knowwere to get my replacements. I hope you do offer them at a fair price.
