I have to go sleep now but I will list the parts that I see in the picture tomorrow.
The ones that I don't know about are the rear bodymount bar and... that is all I think.

I will discus every part on the car so everyone can make it.

So part allmost everybody will know.
The body is a Hot Bodies Ferrari 333 Light (part# HB12202L) paintd by Brain Speed Graphix.

Notice that the front suspension is touching the body so you need to shave a bit of the front suspension.

Steering servo: KO Propo PDS-947FET.
*Note: Shim under the ASSOCIATED servo mount to clear the chassis.

Servo saver: Kimbrough Products for KO PROPO.

Suspension system: ASSOCIATED sturt with YOKOMO hinge pins.
*Note: Thin YOKOMO ride height shims anodized in purple.
Does anyone know about if their exist some sort of lightweight turnbuckles for the ASSOCIATED sturt
suspension?

Suspension brace: Probably ASSOCIATED.
*Note: The YOKOMO brace could not be used becouse the YOKOMO SSG chassis has a narrow front track.
Does anyone know if the YOKOMO RC12 2001 version has the same track width as the 2003 version?

Tie rod: HPI (in fact these are LUNSFORD turnbuckles anodized in purple).

Steering block: YOKOMO offset block with purple anodized wheel axle.

Body mount: HPI.

Chassis: HPI RS12G.
*This chassis seems to be a long wheel base type (like the YOKOMO chassis) but a stiffer, 2.0mm (RS12G) versus
1.95mm (Yokomo SP) and it is stronger around the battery area. The ASSOCIATED is 2.1mm.
The HPI chassis has also a wider front track as the YOKOMO one.

Motor pod lower plate: YOKOMO 2001 version (same as SSG one but in black).

T plate: YOKOMO.

Chassis stand off: YOKOMO anodized in purple.

*Note: Carbon sticker on capacitor. Teflon padded friction plates.

Does anyone know from where the chassis brace comes from?
*Note: The countersunk holes are probably self made (becouse he also did this on the upper motorpod plate) to
have less chance of chassis tweak.

Shock: ASSOCIATED VCS Micro shock.
*Note: Cut ballcup on the shock shaft end.
Who makes white springs?

Lunford and Yokomo both offer titanium turnbuckles for the strut front end.

DPowel, thanks.

Bulkheads: I am allmost sure these are from NIFTECH and of course anodized in purple.

The NIFTECH bulkheads are also lowered like the YOKOMO bulkheads to allow to use smaller tires.
*Note: The NIFTECH bulkheads have a flat base unlike the YOKOMO ones to have less binding on the motorpod
plate, more motor clearence and a lower center of gravity.

Motor pod upper plate: ASSOCIATED. Countersunk holes to eliminate tweak.
*Note: The screws, these had the blue color before the got anodized in purple. Look in the hex shape.

Spur gear: XENON. You can get these from 95 teeth to 130 teeth in one tooth incresement. These also have the 8
balls like theYOKOMO spur gear.

Rear axle and differential assembly: YOKOMO anodized in purple.
*Note: Axle still has the blue color becouse it is allready attached to the carbon part.

www.lunsfordracing.com has them.
They also have titanium king pins and wheel axles. Both offset and inline and these last ones use the small bearings.

So is this car basically a 12L3 with the only HPI part being the main chassis, or is there any other difference??? The rest looks like an associated car, am I right???

Basically yes but so is the Yokomo. You take a good car and improve it so it becomes even better. Only the plastic
front suspension parts, servo stays, shockabsorber, friction plates and upper motorpodplate are associated. The
only cars that have non Asso-style front suspension are Corally.
