The turn out has been low at Rapid but definetly some good comp.
Chuck L,Jesse H and Chris Mockerman have been there about every week so far.
There might even be an XLB sighting.

They have mainly been running stock 12th and 19t sedan, but I'm up for what ever.
My 12th scale is ready and I just finished my sedan last night, but the 7x1 might be a little much.

Hi Dayton,

Ah, yeah, Chuck was out at CEFX today. I think if CEFX is open this coming weekend I'll probably go there to shake out the car (and my cob-webs. haha!) some more. I am definitely planning on hitting G.R. at least a couple times this season.

By the way, we got a chance to run the DB10R today. It was really awesome. The car was so smoothe and predictable. We ran it with a 200mm TC body on it. I was really surprised with the amount of steering it has. It carried alot of corner speed and was agressive yet smoothe. I think this will be an option class i am going to really enjoy.
I wish they would run that class around here! Id race it!

Cant wait!!

All bet! Id be right up the pit table taking the car out of your hands to look at it

Hey rich,

Im glad to hear the worked well for you. It does sound like the tires were big. Once they are trimmed down that will go away. Thanks for the feedback bro

Yeah, I wasn't sure what my tire wear was going to be so I started them a bit large. However, my tire wear was pretty near nil. lol! And, I didn't have time to true them down to a more realistic size because we didn't have a large turn-out and I was making car changes in between rounds.

I'm looking forward to hitting the track again this weekend.

Anybody have any thoughts on why the ride height is different from the left side of the car to the right. I have checked the following:

1. Freshly trued tires
2. Measured the front lower arms, they both are within 0.013 of each other in height
3. Balanced the car on my balancing tools
4. IRS locators are the same
5. Front springs are equal in lenght and thickness
6. Removed the battery retainer
7. Measuring from a flat level surface

I can't seem to figure it out, I am alittle less than 0.5mm out from right to left. Seems like I have some twist in the car somewhere that I can't find.
Thanks,
Mark

Well saturday at the races. The big guns were shaking in there boots!!! The BMI 12th scales were got a fourth and a seven in the main (mine was a DNF because of broken servo). Had the third fastest lap was a 10.667. Believe what you read on the box. The big guns will be hunting for you. Great car!!!!!!!

Where are you measuring the ride height? Front or rear sides?
Are the flex plates the same in the rear?
Ride height spacers, are they the same?
Measure from the hole in front of the car to the wheelas and see if they are the same....

Yes, Wes had the car running on rails having just putting it together the night before. I managed 4th throught steady driving and not trying to push it. ( This was the first official time I actually raced the car and only the 6th time I've race a 12 scale car). As each qualifier and main go I am getting better....

Did you look at the front springs loaded on the car?
Sometimes they take a set, and one may be a bit softer than the other.
