Default Alternates for Deans 12 guage wires?

Can you find some red/black 12 guage wires at Lowe's or Home Depot to use instead of Deans 12 guage "wet noodle" wire? Paying $7 for only 2ft of Deans 12 guage is too much.

Also, can you find those shrink tube at Lowes or Home Depot?

The high strand count and silicone insulation make it 'premium' wire. You can probably find similar wire from a Chinese webstore, but not at a local hardware store.

Probably can find it cheaper, but the minumum quantity will be 250-500' reel. Hard to justify.

Heat shrink is available from electronic stores like Fry's (www.outpost.com) or All Electronics (www.allelectronics.com) which is where I go. It costs anywhere from $2-$10 for a 4 foot lenght depending on width of heatshrink.
