You do not need a hot plug with that engine.
If you are running 20% a mc8 medium plug is a good choice.
For 30% I run a mc9 cold plug.
I would stick with a med. plug if you are using sport fuel and definately go with a cold plug if using any kind of racing fuel.

I'm running 30% Odonnel with mc9 plug. It comes with a dynamite r3 hot plug which is good for rich break in settings.

O.S. R5 plugs work well also. I used these cause they were at the LHS and I just stuck with them. Like the others said above, 20%=medium plug.

Yep. I put a .21 on my 8ight and I'm using the Mach on the T. I put the backplate on so I would only need one box and nothing else to start the vehicles. It works really well, seals up good. I still have the RTR engine mounts from my buggy. So if I have to, I could switch back to the spin start.

Uuuuuhhh....seriously? The kit engine mounts are not that much. I'd think it would be difficult to keep the mounting surface level. It could affect your gear mesh and cause other problems like uneven gear tooth wear, or wear out the clutch bearings more frequently. How come you don't want to get the lower engine mounts?

I race in Kansas, USA. Mostly in Hutchinson, Wichita area. I've been trying to go to bigger races but my work schedule gets in the way. I work rotating shifts and getting the vacation time lined out is hard. Freefallmarine is trying to set up an Enduro race in the Tulsa, OK area. Gonna try to make that. I'll be going to Omaha, NE for the pro series race in a few months. tried to get off work for the Evansdale, IA pro series race but that didn't happen. How bout you, where is your local track?
