that is the other side of it that keeps coming up in conversions with mrbill that I have had that we have enough classes.and by adding rubber it would thin out the other class a bit do to the 500 entry limit. and it would add even more people to the waiting list.

Wow, I won brushless 10.5 non-lipo rubber tire Truck Body 4wd and got second in Brushed 19turn Lipo Sedan 4wd but I couldnt get my direct drive Open Mod Foam Tire Solar Cell Fwd Coupe around the track to save my life.

I've only missed one Cleveland race since 1990 and I love the race for what it is and also for what it is NOT. In my opinion there is enough classes and the only rule change considerations for this year should be what classes to allow to run brushless. I would like to see the 10.5 motors allowed for the 19T classes this year and/or have the 13.5 brushless legal for the Masters classes.

Well just to be different, I'd love to see it. Although I completely understand the entry limit thing and don't want to make race days any longer, if you offer it I'd sign up for it along with a lot of others. Why not try to limit the entries? Say a 20 car max or something similiar. Just a thought.

Many people love foams, that's great, but at least throw the rest of us dogs a bone LOL !
Touring cars were made for rubber tires, on any surface !
Maybe you would have to make a limit on classes per racer or even limit rubber tire entries, better than nothing. Or even bump up entry limit by 20 ? probably giving you nightmares already
Oh well, can't always be everything to everybody, any way you do it I'm sure it will be a great race.

If you want to race rubber tire on carpet so bad, then save your money and go to the Novak USTC at Trackside 6 weeks later.
Or go to the IIC in Vegas.
Or the Snowbirds.
There's enough big races to choose from these days.

Wasn't there rubber tires at Cleveland back in the first years of TC? If I remember right, and that's a stretch at my age, the rubber tires screwed with the bite. Foam classes would run and the bite came up, only to have all the bite go away after the rubber tires were through. If you were in the early foam heats, you were screwed. Personal opinion is that there should be three classes of each scale, Mod, stock & Masters, and that's it. Or you could put rubber tires on the 12th scale cars too.
There were some years that guys like Skip Starkey would run 4-5-6 classes, but he's a stud. Most I could pull off were 4 max.
