I live 40 or so miles west of Austin. The next little town down the road from Marble Falls where they got all the rain recently. It was scary that night. I'm a little hard core about my videos But its the only thing I get to do anymore. Can't race due to problems with my legs and since I'm on disability money is very tight. So once a week I go and video then I have the raw footage to work on during the week. I usually end up making 2 or 3 weekends a month. Sometimes more sometimes less. I started playing around with it last Oct then really started getting heavily into it last Dec. Since then I've been experimenting with multiple cameras. First with a DVR and then with the mini-DV cams. The DVR worked great but I couldn't match up the image from those cameras with my hand held. Not enough bandwidth on the DVR I had access too. The guys that make DVD's use many more cameras than I do. And they are all on a time synch system so the editing is much easier. I've heard Ray Woods uses 8 cameras on a shoot. One of them costs more than my entire set-up But I'm happy with what I'm getting and the editing skills I've managed to pick up. Just finished up a little teaser from Houston. I'll be posting that later on tonight.
