The speedo's AMTS default is #6 (18.75*). This is for SP Mod motors and this is what I am using for my 10.5's. They recommend setting #1 (0*) for stock and #4 (11.25*) for all Novak and LRP motors.

I think this is something we will have to fool around with to figure out. I definatly suggest starting out with 2-3 teeth smaller pinions than you used with LRP and Novak and gearing up if needed. Just look at lap time and motor temps.

I think the start mode settings are something guys will really use. The carpet guys are all complaining about BL being too punchy. This setting will certanily let guys mellow their motors bottom end.

Hey Adrian-
I see you got a 10.5 set-up? Have you tried it yet against the Novak? I'm wondering because the SP10.5R is rated as a 21T equivalent The SP9.5R is rated as a 19T equivalent

I was at Schu USA when Shawn tested the SP 10.5 motor. Its pretty much identical to the Novak 10.5. Similar watt output, similar amp draw with the same load and similar test temps...you can't ask for more than that.

Shawn meant it when he said if the motors were not up to par he would not bring them in.

So I took the leaf blower to my neighbors driveway cause I didn't want to wait till Sunday.

GT/13.5 on the MI3 with a 96/38 combo, end out at 4.55 FDR

I'm running the speed control at "drrs" level 5

And timing at level 8 (26.25 degrees)
