Default Serpent Electric Buggy S500

We have comfirmed with Serpent distributor in korea that Serpent is currently working for their new Electric Buggy Project name S500, and S500 might be ready for IFMAR 2007 in Japan. We haven't checked who will participate IFMAR with S500, but there would be some serpent team drivers participating IFMAR 2007.

More Information will be available in http://rcforum.co.kr

Now this DOES surprise me!

Serpent haven't been interested in electric or off-road RC for about 20 years. Now all of a sudden they release an electric tourer, and with 2 months before the worlds in Japan there is news they will be doing an electric buggy too!

I hope they have been working hard on it already because 2 months is no way near enough time to produce and effective prototype, let alone a production car.
