Points Break down……
Each Racer will receive points for their respective overall qualification in that class after 3 rounds of qualifying. Meaning the Overall TQ for his or her class will get 100 points…..2nd over all qualifier will get 99 points and 3rd will get 98 points and so on. Now for the points for the main results in each class everyone will still be racing everyone else but they will be in their respective main. Who ever finishes their main with the quickest overall time in their class will be awarded 100points….and who ever has the second quickest main result will get 99points and so on. This means that someone who is in the C-main can take the overall victory for the mains if their result is the quickest of the rest of the class and by the same token someone from the B or C main can also finish second overall with a quick enough time. So this means that everyone will be receiving 1 point total at the end of each day based off of these two 100 point scales. This system has been used by other series and it has worked out great and makes for an interesting season with the way things can unfold.

Also look for the website to be updated ASAP and that will also be listed here.

Any questions on any thing fire away....Snowy, Brad and I will be here to help answer them and clear anything up.

If anything changes we will give everyone plenty of warning when possible.

I was with you on the points thing up to this part. So, after qualifying and the main you add up my qualifying points (say 95) and may overall main points (say 98), so my total is 193. If someone else has 194 and the highest has 198, you rank all these, then assign them 100, 99, 98,....??? So the 198 guy would get 100, the 194 guy would get 99, and I (the 193 guy) would get 98??

Or, do you just add the two together and stick with 198, 194, 193,...?

I like the idea of making the first 3/4 of the day (qualifying) worth some points, I'm just trying to understand it.

PS Can you move the first race up or back a week? My wife and I are going to the NASCAR race in New Hampshire the weeked of 9/15.

Or, do you just add the two together and stick with 198, 194, 193,...?....Yes we add both point totals together so you will end up with something 200 points or less....just like how you said it here.

Im in the same boat as you on the 9/15 date thats my Fiancé’s B-day so I might miss that first one as well....but it was the only date that worked out.

It will be good to see some new faces and some of the old ones too....its good to see everything so positive so far.

If anyone has any questions or issues please feel free to post them or PM us.

Thanks for the clarification.

FYI,
My son and I will race Tamiya minis and hopefully 13.5 TC. We're hoping to make 3 or 4 of the races at least. Too bad we'll miss the first one at Trackside though. And Green Bay is tough from all the way down here in flatland.

Looking forward to it.
