Will there be anyone up for mod when I get out there for the next race? Can't make it this weekend but I'm planning on coming out for the next one.

Me and a few others ran "mod' class (6 total?) but we just used 19turns coz the traction's not quite there yet for REAL mod. I think everyones going to drop down in motor so there will be more in 19 turn and stock class.

I'll have to see what I have then. I've been doing 5 cell brushless mod with 3.5 and 4.5 LRP and Orion motors for the most part. Not sure how 5 cell 19 turn brushed will be.

Jon,

How is it running on 5 cell? Is there less punch off the corners with one less cell or is that made up with the brushless motor?

Well, there's not really a whole lot less punch, especially with th brushless and the new LRP speedo. It's the best speedo out there right now IMO. Brushed or brushless. The car handles much better too. My car has the 5 cell specific chassis on it which moves the receiver to the right rear behind the cells and it moves the cells out and back to balance it better without having to add any weight.

Had fun for my first ever on road race. Wish I had been able to run the main. Will be back as soon as I get my car back together. Thanks DHW and crew.
