Another question, my V1R swaybar does not work with the V1RR rear treatment. It clashes on the 2 speed gears. Is the RR rear swaybar different to the R?

[edit] I can see that the RR has different "linkages" (use threaded rod rather than a turnbuckle) on the rear swaybar, but it still seems to hit the 2 speed some.
I am quite sure this is right.
The RR use different sway bar on the rear to the R.
YOu can now buy option sway bar only for the RR without the links. don't have the part # w/me.

I have driven my V1R with some of the RR conversion fitted. I did not use the front or rear body mounts (these would make only a small difference anyhow) but I ran the front handshake swaybar, rear v1r swaybar, soft SP side belt and overdrive pulley (25t). However I ran the overdrive with a gear diff.

Impressions, swaybars made cornering smoother and more consistent. The overdriven front increased into corner push, but allowed me to get on the gas earlier and it pulled the car through the corner like a mild oneway effect, there was a little push as well. Definate loss of top speed due to the overdrive.

AMG: are you useing the 30mm rear foams or the 26mm?

I have a pair of 32mm Kawahara Zack projects just waiting to see what other feel about the new set up, I have ran these tyres before I like them, but I don't have the overdrive pully.
I think the body mounts will help but most of you guys seem a little sceptical give it a try I would like to know what you find.

I should be getting the RR kit sometime early Feb.
untill then the R gets all the attention

Trim down your front tires to 4.5mm dia less than the back and you lose the overdrive

Nope I am just using the BEST 26mm foams front and rear, we are using the IFMAR rules. That is why I have not bothered with the mounts as we cannot run lola bodies. I am sure that the downforce acting on the wheels cannot hurt.
