OK I have found the first weakness with this car!!! Well every car is allowed one right

The front up stops are made of a quite flexible plastic which flexes a heck of a lot when the hex screws bottom out. Therefore trying to set the chassis from not hitting the ground is quite difficult. I am going to get the K Factory aluminium pieces which I hope will fix this........

The rear ones work very well BTW.........

I understand that the upstops are useful for stopping the chassis from slapping the ground. At our track the places where you brake heavily are also very rough meaning the front of the chassis seems to hit the ground some giving understeer. I could raise the ride height, but that would affect the handling of the car elsewhere......

Or am I going the wrong way here........

well, in that case your car stop faster without the up stop. your main chassis does the job for you .

so you should have no problem for the chassis touching ground when applying brake. you should have stiffer suppension then we do as we run rubber tire here with no problem at all.

The track surface is not broken. The surface is wavy in some areas mayby 1/2 inch variations......

So you would not recommend using upstops..... Can you see a bad side to using them.......

well, 1/2 inch is over 10mm !!! that is big difference.
I dont know how you can handle that even you have up stop !!

My track has a dip in it that will cause your car's wheels to leave the ground. I'd say the dip was much more than 1/2" (12.7mm).
