Default OS TZ .12

I searched and couldn't find some info on this engine.
I had the pinch bolt come loose and found that the reason was because the insulating material had become brittle and cracked. After tearing down the engine all looked good except the carb.. I have maybe,,2 gals. on this thing and it always ran great. Anybody else have this problem? tia.

This is a problem with this engine. The gasket wears out our cracks and the carburator comes loose or develops a leak. Only thing to do is buy a new gasket.

Thanks d. I have a broken insulator. The part that is on the neck of the carb. Keeps the carb isolated to prevent vaporlock. The oring at the top was fine.
I called OS and they have heard of this problem and blame it on overtightening the pinch bolt. In other words, you screwed up and we're not gonna help ya. I did order new parts and was told the insulator is epoxied on if anybody has this problem.
