Default testing

I ran the r12 this weekend with some mods that PW advised me and the car worked awsome. I also tried different shocks(X-RAY) and the car handled flawless. Very smooth on and off power. My good friend Henry Hernandez (also running an R12) and my self had the two fastest cars of the practice session both of us using the O.S.TR .12. Henry ran the R12 for the first time and loved it. We will be testing different springs and gearing again this weekend at FTSPEEDWAY , and i will post the results.

Default Ball cups

RPM ball cups work except on the rear hub side, they rub.

Default Fusion

Would there be any way to change the Fusion over to a Pull start system rather then the EZ start system... bc i just stripped the Ez start bolt, and i guess im going to have to replace this. IS this a simple procedure? How do you replace it, bc i cant seem to find any info anywhere, its not in the direction book, and i cant seem to find it on schumachers website.

thanks
-brad

Guys looking to get a Fusion for the up coming race season...wanted to know you thoughts on the car and how it competes in the very hard to choose from Nitro Sedan market.

One bit of info I am concerned about is "shredding belts". Is this something that is common with a belt nitro? Any information would be great!

Paul- The M2 looks great! I may have to run both schumacher electric and nitro here in the midwest...got some great stuff going on.

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I am fairly new to the hobby and have been racing for about 4 months. I run an R12 and the car is very fast couldn't be happier with it.

I have shreadded a belt but that was in a car park while I was bashing around, under race conditions I am yet to break one.

At our track we have a wide selection of cars and it is as fast as any, unfortunatly my driving is not as good, but I am still learning.
I did find that once I intalled most of the Hop-up parts and used the settings PW posted in this thread, the car had both great cornering speed as well as up the straight, and the engine braking feature is terrific, no need to brake at all the car doe's it all for you
