MOST IMPORTANTLY - Thanks to everyone who came and raced on a perfect memorial day weekend! Without racers there is no race!
Anyone know what the fastest race lap was all day?
Am I mistaken or was it laid down by a 1/8th scale gas buggy?
Roeder -awesome dicing in the motorstorm event, i bet that video gets huge airtime on U-tube!
Chuck, CR, Sam, Tom, & Jude - Absolutely phenomenal competition all day in 1/8th buggy especially CR and Chuck, three 15 min races decided by less than 7 seconds (if i looked at the results right) between three racers - unbelievable - good show guys, it was a blast - can't wait to do it again!
Ed - Can't wait to do some wheel to wheel in 1/8th next week.

I bought a megaphone with a siren while in Indy.........CCCCOOOOOOOOLLLLLL!!!!!
Had a great time sort of glad to be back, got to walk down Gasoline alley and was close enough to the cars to touch them. Got a ton of autographs and got to meet some of the "higher profile" drivers! Got a tour of the timing tower or Pogoda and got to meet the man responsible for scoring the cars! Very interesting to find out that the Indy and NASCAR cars use AMB personal transponders to score. They are the size of a ciggarette pack and run about 800 bucks. Cool to find out that the same technology we use is used by people on that level! Joey got her picture taken with Jenna Elfman and I got to shake hands with Slash from GnR! Saw STP Friday and more nudity than any one person could ever want!!!
Anyway I know all of you missed me....that's why I along with my megaphone will gladly be back!!!!!!

Gixx, did you have a chat with Danica after she got taken out? If she don't like it (that was a racing deal BTW) she should come over to NASCAR (where you can bump on most pit roads and get away with it)

Yeah Dave saw the whole thing....I did not get to watch the replay to know if the aired the part where she was being escorted back from Briscoe's pit and pushed a camera man out of the way knocking him to the ground! I don't care what she does, she's hot as hell and even hotter in person!!!!

Danica was screaming on the radio all day about how her car wasn't handling and she was SLOOOOW. I don't know about you, but anything approaching 200 mph ISN'T slow!!!

Right after it happened, ABC/ESPN cut to commercial break with that side by side crap. I could see the video, but no audio.....Yeah they aired it.

Wheldon had the fastest single lap straight-away speed which was 228mph going into turn 1!

Dude, how about them photographers who stand between pit lane and the inner straight away concrete barrier. HOLY COW THATS BALLS!!!

Dave each crew has a man between those barriers holding signs for their drivers with times, position etc.! They stay there the whole race, and duck between those walls when someone crashes! They probably use wheel barrels to tote their balls around!!!!!
