Hi James, multiples of the same number will be available as they are now with our i-PT transponders but only after the PT has been sent to us. Because the PTX has multiple numbers there's no need to send a PT unless you want your own ID number cloned into a PTX.

Yes the PTX has user-replaceable wires.

Half the price would be awesome! I don't think you could keep up with the demand. I'll keep my eyes peeled...

Hi tallyrc. If we can help clubs especially the smaller clubs we will in any way we can, but a whole system presents a whole lot of problems. Technically it's ok, but there are other 'issues' that would need to be resolved to make it happen.

Hi sportpak, yes half the price would be awesome, we're still working on finalising the product so no prices worked out yet! As for the demand, we'll have to wait and see..

Hi swopemike, the answer is most likely no as it would mean a higher price.

Now that would win me over!

So these are what? Random numbers that may or may not allready be in use by an AMB transponder?

Also, how many ID's are preset into each? 12 would be ideal to cover 1/8th Rallycross.

I would suspect that these are recycled numbers from those who had sent in their PT's for cloning with the i-PT....just a guess though.

Hi InspGadgt, acadamygaz and Chris. There are 10 numbers used for the PTX, those numbers are not already in use. There can be extra cloned numbers included so it is possible to have 12 numbers. The club PTX version just has a single 'cloned' number. We don't use anyones number except for their own cloned i-PT's and for their extra cloned custom PTX number(s).

Hi D1drifter, no ETA as yet. As soon as we know when we'll be making the date known, there's still a few things to finalise.

So you'll be able to switch the number of your PT by pushing a button? That's killer. Will they be longer random numbers or 1, 2, 3, etc? How many numbers? If there are multiple guys at the track with the PTX how will we avoid guys using the same number.

By the way...

Thank You!

for offering a reasonably priced alternative.

Terry, I assume you bought 10 AMB PT's and used cloned the number/signals of each into 1 PTX?

Sorry it it seems a bit obvious, as I've only just thought of how you could have done it.

Once the price and dates are announced, I'm having one.

Hi SlamMan, there's 10 numbers in the standard 'set' so all 10 can race together. It's not possible to 'make' new numbers only AMB can do that, but using multiple numbers anyone can have a number to race with. Our existing T1-10 transponder for the older AMB20 system is the similar it has 10 numbers that can be selected for it to count on.
