Default Losi 8IGHT-T Servos?

Does the 8IGHT-T have the same problem like the 8IGHT Buggy in burning out Throttle Servos?

Cheers

Its not the vehicle - its a combination of cheap servos and user error.

Get yourself a good, strong steering servo - like a Hitec TG-5955 and a good throttle servo of choice... JR 9000T/S... Futaba 9451... etc.

i've put about 5 gallons thru my 8ight in the last month with 0 servo issues. JR 9000S for steering, 4800T for throttle on both my 8 and 8-T. as long as your linkages are set up correctly, you should not run into any problems - like XMS said, it's primarily user error and servos that are not up to the task.

Losi are about to bring out the RTR T with the DX2.0 Radio. Are the servos that come with it alright to use?

Cheers

+1 to Trebor. In my 8B the throttle (z270) lasted almost three "tanks" of fuel. I put in an Air 358 and seven gallons later (and all of my crashes), it has started to act up. The z590 did last about two gallons though. Advice--try to budget for two good high torque/speed servos. Your truck will thank you for it.

Hi all the guru...........Just check with all of you that I just bought a 2nd hand MBX5 Prospec buggy which without servo. I bought 2nd hand because don't have enough budget. Currently in my mind that I would put Hitec 645MG on my throttle and Hitec 5645MG on my steering because I just got enough budget to purchase this 2 servo . The question is do Hitec 5645MG good enough for the steering and can last long or not or keep a little more budget to buy Ace DS1015 ? Thanks.

Yes, I have had problems with the throttle servo buring out, I burnt up a new jr 9000s servo after about 3/4 of a gallon and a airtronics 94360 after another gallon of fuel the airtronics servo came out of my kyosho sp2, it has had about 5 gallons of fuel on it before i put it in my 8t, i stuck a stock ofna servo in it while those servos are getting fixed and i have ran about 2 1/2 gallons on it and have not had any problem with it yet.

Get an Ace DS1015 and never worry about servos again.

I helped a guy at the track last month that went through 2 servos on the eight throttle. Due to the way the linkage is set up you have to be very careful on your EPA settings, to much throw on the throttle and it fries the servo. After we made those adjustments, everything went great. Good Luck!
