It sounds like people will be picking up a 12kmah & a 19 turn for the r/c pro series nationals.

[QUOTE=Craps;4392915]

Hour long mains sound like a good way to dump in the middle of a race w/ an 8kmah lipo if you aren't going to swap packs.

Good luck Scott and make the electrics proud! Try to go all the way on the same battery. I am not sure the effiency of your castle system compared to our Novak with 7.5, but like Dennis said we went all 30 minutes with 8000 mahs with battery to spare.

Again good luck!

PS. I don't care if you guys race Castle. Just giving you guys a hard time.

Turn the timing way down on the mamba & set that punch control at around 50%. This will greatly increase your run times. When your turn the timing down it will make a motor like a 5700 perform more like a 13x3 instead of a 10x1.

Too many racers want to over motor a 2wd stadium truck that also is very inefficient. Most tracks even a 7.5 is too much and that includes the big 1/8th scale tracks that usually have just one long straight that is not where the races are won!

I ran a 7.5 this past weekend and I could pull wheelies whenever I pulled full throttle, I'll be going to an 8.5 to settle it down a little. Good thing I didn't listen to that little voice in my head that was telling me I needed to run at least a 6.5

Couldn't agree more Craps, I started with a 5700 MM and now running a 4600. I would run a lower KV Motor, if i could find one without being a fegaio. I'd like a 2800 lehner basic XL, should be able to handle some serious gearing and maintain efficiency

Here is a dist. in the u.s. for the hacker motors.

http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...umb=on&smode=0

It's pretty funny that they managed to undercut feigo in this market.
