Anyone know which servo works on this car....

I have a futaba s9602 and it's too tall. It looks like a s9650 will work, but I'm not finding a spec sheet on the net that confirms the height from the "bottom of the ears to the bottom of the case". Instructions state 19-22mm.

19mm, let say 20 mm for bottom of the ears to bottom of the case.
By ears, means support to mount the servo inclined!

Can anyone offer up which servo they use? I'd hate to order a servo not knowing if it fits.

What servo did Moore or Hara Use ? I can't find images that show a close up shot of the servo mfg.

Has anyone tried the KO 949? I believe Moore is sponsored by KO so it would only make sense. Perhaps I am wrong though.

Hara runs fro Futaba...here is a pic of his car at the IIC, can't realy tell what brand. I have a Futaba 9650 in my C12 and have used 9602s in the past w/out any problems.

thanks guys, I'm sure I could have fit the 9602 in there, but I hate taking the dremel to a new car or servo if I don't have to.

P2,

Do you have any other pics of Cyclone 12's that you can post, IIC or other.

Thanks,
Steve

If you have any experience with an L4, the setup is pretty much the same thing. .020 springs up front, Olive rear spring. Tires will depend on what surface you race on. Of course the small details like droop, ride height, track width, etc depens on your driving style.

That's a Futaba 9650 servo in the car. Out of the box the C12 is very good.
For big races I have to use an OD12 which feels lazier than the C12, but the lap times are the same.
