Novak Brushless Price in Australia
I am interested in getting a Novak Brushless System for my TRF414M. I went into my LHS the other day and they had just got 2 in. I almost fell over when I found out they were priced at a whopping $650. I asked one of the staff why they were so expensive and he said because they are warrantied for a year. Is this the normal price in Australia for the system or are they cheaper elsewhere.

hey is the brushless a system where u havto get the ESC and stuff? or can u just get the motor and put it with a Futaba MC600C?

Hypa - You'd probably get more feedback in the Aus forum but anyway. At radio models the novak brushless system is priced at $626.20. www.radiomodels.com.au
davioh - A brushless system includes the motor and esc. Brushless motors require special brushless esc's. Novak sells it as a package that includes both, but alot of other companies sell them seperately.

You can get one new on Ebay much cheaper.. about $240.00 US

My LHS has them for $220 USD. Not bad for what you are getting. Just sounds pricey since I already own a $150 ESC

pretty sure I saw the price on the Novak super sport to be 530 ish at my local hobby shop in Melbourne...

I saw a Novak BL run today. He was trying it out in different classes to see where it could fit. With 6-cell limited, the cut off was strange to see at the end of the long straight but it could get to speed in no time. I thought 4-cell unlimited looked a little faster. 6-cell unlimited he could just drive around any of the stock sedans. The dirty track (first day outside) and setup issues made the braking tough. I thought it was awesome and would get one if everybody else did. Hehe, thats what everybody said I think. I know I want one now.
