Just wanted to see if there was a consensus as to a great stock 27t motor for on-road 1/10th scale sedans. I'm looking for brushed motors, not BL.

i have heard the way there built there more like a 26 turn motor.... but there a 27 turn, so torque, speed is basicially the same, but its a low turn so more torque

Depends on the Track, for a Technical Track I like the CO27, for a High Speed Track alot of people like the Epic X. The best way to find out what's the best for you, go to your local track and find out what the Fast guys or gals are running. If you are going to go with the CO27, I suggest running F-Brushes, they are the best for the CO27.
