Default What's the latest and greatest stock 27T motor ppl are running?

Just wanted to see if there was a consensus as to a great stock 27t motor for on-road 1/10th scale sedans. I'm looking for brushed motors, not BL.

Depends on the Track, for a Technical Track I like the CO27, for a High Speed Track alot of people like the Epic X. The best way to find out what's the best for you, go to your local track and find out what the Fast guys or gals are running. If you are going to go with the CO27, I suggest running F-Brushes, they are the best for the CO27.

that is not true. some of the motors when they first came out had an arm that had advanced timing in it. that is it no 26 turn just 27.

F-Brushes are just a style of brush that work the best with the CO27, if you dont know what brushes are they are the copper/silver peices that slide into the endbell (they are what transfer power to the comm) the springs hold them in. Here is where you can get some
Team Brood

(halfway down the page)
EA Motorsports

(look for stock F brush, almost at the bottom)
