A lot of thought has been put into these cars. Its very nice to drive a well tuned piece of race technology.
Sounds like your having a great time racing your new ride Arti

IMO Scott has it all right. There is no tread on the tire, so it is not directional. Side bite or forward bite, unless (like Scott said) tire is beginning to roll over due to being too soft. Up untill that point, softer equals more grip in either direction.
I was shocked when I learned that tire manufacturers use a different type of rubber for front! I found out a few years ago and have been a bit miffed by this ever since. When questioned, they say it is so that the front tires wear longer!
I ask why should I want my front tires to last longer than the rear? This dilema is the reason we have to run harder rear tires! EVERY tc I have had, wears rear tires faster than front, requireing the use of firmer(and or larger) rear tires to keep car from pushing badly during last part of longer races.
I would prefer it if tire manufacturers would leave set-up choices to the racers, and produce tires with the same kind of rubber for both ends.

I wonder what it would be like to run some rear tires in the front, I measured a set of front and rear tires, all the extra width is on the backside of the rim, wouldn't be too hard to cut down a set of rears to 26mm and try them in front, it might be an interesting experiment to see the wear rate versus the handling difference......

Default GRP 1/8 on-road tires

Hey guys, new in the game. Just wanted to ask if someone could direct me to anybody who gives out any deals on 8th scale tires. Heard from the grapevine that someone is selling GRP Tires for $30 a set but there's a minimum of 5 sets. Could someone kindly provide me w/ a number or any info at all. THanks much you guys.

Do those active tires come in any specific wheel color or is whats on your site right? the 40's seem to be white and the rest seem to be yellow.
