Buying brand new IB3800 and IB3600 cells
i still use IB3600 they are good performance and have lower capacity which makes discharging/equilizing quicker and there heaps of runtime left after 5mins as i only run brushless
i'm now after some new cells.
would it be no good to buy new 3800 and 3600 cells as these would be stock from over 12months ago and they would of all self discharged already?
or they are ok to self discharge when they are brand new?
anyone bought any recently, are they still good to use?
thanks

A few people locally bought some old-stock LRP VTEC 3800s (same as IB)which were obviously od stock, perhaps two years old. They had mostly self-discharged considerably and people were having a lot of problems bringing them back to life. I think a few of the packs were usable but unless you are confident you can bring the cells to life I would be wary of these cells now.
