Hey Uriah can you compare the powerbands of the Murnan kangroo 09-10 and the Murnan rb Classico 10. What motor is faster? What I'd the better buy? And are they fast enough to keep up with the stock nova 9 ports? I need another motor for my 8 scale. Please chime in.

The Kangaroo has more power than the Classico 10. The Kangaroo will hang with the more expensive engines except on tracks with long straights.

I agree with Uriah. This is a great motor for the price Murnan modified of course and run-time is not an issue.

Good idea Hobo.. Paulie

Default Mr Murnan 5 minutes

Mr Murnan
I'm from Argentina, I've bought a Novarrosi modified for the World 1 / 8, 2007 (Cordoba Argentina), really excellent.
This year we are going to Porter (Houson) for the world, though we are running now with Sirius, we do not reach the 5 minutes.
What about the modified RB or Novarrosi . The theme is to make a single charge in the classifications heats.

Sorry for my English and Thanks in Advance

Hey Grinder,

I am having trouble with runtime on my RB M3.

What other pipes besides the 2660 and the 2652 can I try?

Try those pipes with a non conical header. You can also try the Novarossi 2601. That will make runtime for sure. Which glowplug are you using? 16% Nitro? Are you lean enough?

Hi. The fully broken in RBM3 will make runtime.

16% Nitro Byron Gen 2, Novarossi Glow Plug C6TC

Shimming was at 0.30 mm

It was at like 275*-280. I think I could go leaner.

Should I go to 0.35mm or 0.40mm? Here in PR its very hot and humid as you might remember .

Murnan,

You get any drag race engine results from racers so far this year? We are going into our 3rd race of the season and "The ROCK" (Rockingham) is going to be off the hook with 40+ entries. Just checking.

So far the ET's have been hampered by weather, or crappy tracks. So far in the first 2 races our results have been good with one win, and one second. Mostly due to not getting to run the finals due to weather. I expect that at the better tracks there will be much better ET's. So far nothing below 1.6 something with the promod in competition. Practice is another story We need gobs of traction, and no rain to set fast ET's!!! So far that has not been the case. I hear that Rockingham is a great track though.
