Default Kyosho V-One S. Is it capable?

Hi, im new to the nitro scene been racing electric tourers for a while... just wanted to know how the V-One S would fair at club level? also what upgrades are needed to get the best out of it?

It's an older car if I'm not mistaken. That would mean that replacement parts would be tough to get. That's really the only disadvantage I can see, as at the club level even an HPI RS4 can do decently with the right driver.

How much can you get the V1S for? Most likely you can find an mtx-3 for a very reasonable price. That should be more than capable of a car for a good price.

Hello, if you are going to be racing in a pullstart class at your club, then a Kyosho V One S 3 is the one to go for. You can upgrade to front one way, Novarossi/TOP motor, front sway bar etc etc.... Very competitive straight out of the box and makes a beginner look good. I actually race a Hobao GPX4 RTR with a few legal mods and with proper set up, Kyosho beater!
