yes i am a drifter but it's nothing. arms can be replaced. people make it seem like it's welded on or something and i can't put back to stock. it's for bling and i'm not like a hardcore racer like most of the people here. my chassis stay new for ages...so if i want to sell them later, i can always put it to stock. no biggy.

Race report..
hey guys.. ran the TA05MS yesterday at a club race in the 13.5 class. After getting my tires figured out, the car is very very capable. 
Handling feels very similar to the TA05 but quicker and more nimble. I used my own set up and did a 10.1 (TQ in stock did 10.0 with his MRE in the morning round) during the hottest part of the day. This car is very good and handles very well.
lastly.. i ran the car with a spool. although the car had tons of steering with the one-way.
will put the standard kit set up on there and run it next time i hit the track.

Hey chris how was the MS compared to your old 415MSX? That is the true comparison I am looking for. After Nats, I am moving up to 19t and need to figure out what to get!!!!

seriously though, i like this car better than my 415MRE. i cant put my finger on it, but this car behaves better for me and im more comfortable with it.
i threw a modified (see below) TA05 set up (the one from regionals) on my 05MS, and like i mentioned above, once i chose the correct tires, the 05MS was on pace with the MRE that TQ'ed stock. although my driving wasnt.
i do have one complaint though. i wish it came with the 5 mounting holes on the bulkheads for the camber links. that way i can do a direct transfer of my TA05R set up onto the 05MS. instead Tamiya recycled the MRE bulkheads and im limited to 3 holes instead of the 5 from the 05R.
in two weeks, i'll run the 05MS with a 10.5 and see how much better it is since I ran the MRE mostly in 19T.
What's Dialed....
- countersunk shock towers
- new steering rack
- alum. diff in the rear
- the usual TRF goodies (ribber shock caps and collar adjuster, etc)
- LW suspension
What's Hurting....
- stock screws strip easily
- 3 camber link mounting holes instead of 5 (like the TA05R)

the hex pattern inside gets rounded and the wrench can no longer grip them. when that happens, you cant unscrew it anymore and you have get a dremel out. then you have to dremel a slot into the screw to unscrew them.
ive replaced all the top deck and motor mount screws with new ones.

Looks nice E-clip - you should race it next Tue! Unfortunately I don't think I'll have mine by then...
