Default What is the best engine for US$450?

What is the best engine for US$450?

MR12 T01A - NINJA

RR12L5 - NOVAROSSI

JP Black FX 12 T-03 S

I dont know which of the above engines to pick or know of any others for the $450 mark.

Which is the best engine, I only want to spend about $450.

The JP black are too expensive are they worth it?

Think about going with a Max power .12 motor. otherwise, Go with the Ninja. The RR engines are good and fast, but I've had issues with cranks wearing out.

the ninja and JP are 3 port motors and the nova is a 5 port motor. are you limited to number of ports for your racing?

you mean the crank pin rcfoolz?

No port limits anything goes as long as 2.1cc.

I was thinking the ninja.

Also what tune pipe is better:

novarossi 2.1cc POLISHED INLINE EFRA PIPE
or
mugen 2.1cc POLISHED INLINE EFRA PIPE?

Thanks

Orion WASP CRF .12 <-- Excellent screamer! I'm a newb, and this was easy to tune and work with.

You can get the Ninja and pipe combo for under $400. Can't go wrong and the engine screams.

I second that. Take the extra money and buy a spare con rod.

I think you can get the MR-12 T01AK from Kamikaze racing for $329 plus shipping. Or you might also wanna try the Picco JLR .12 Red Dot for $179.00 plus shipping engine only. Either way you can't go wrong they're both very good engines without the high costs.

Oh yeah I think Kamikaze has all the engines you've mentioned including the IDM Modified.

Jp is the most expensive but the fastest.
I raced last weekend with a ninja and i was really disappointed in the speed it had. My stock max engine was a lot faster especially in the infield.
