For a high bite track you may not believe me but 50,0000 diff in the rear that will give you more steering than 30,000 difff fluid. That will solve the pushing problem. Gearing for small track would be 16,22 60,54 or53,59. But for a large track it depends on what motor you are running some bottomend motors need tall gearing to make up for the topend that the lack but for topend motorrs you can gear them lower for bottomend and the topend rpms that they produce will take care of the topend

Hi,
Anyone shortened the wheelbase on the MTX-4R as I run on a short technical track and I am considering it as a setup option.........

Default MY MTX4R

i finished to construct my new machine, MTX4R.

I used Knack Option (Servor Saver, Diff Gear, Rear Bulk 1mm Plate)

I did not use Titan King-pin ball... and i used 1500mA Receiver battery.

But.. MTX-4R weight is about 1800~1810g (include Titan screw)

i think that MTX-4R weight is too high compare with other machine.

is it must need to do light weight tune?

Hi gansie, all your cars are always put together well..... It is a good Idea to get the car close to min legal weight but not a must IMO....

What material is the Knack rear plate is made of?

Does anyone know where I get get a one piece solid spool that is not made from aluminum? I just think the one-way/spool that came with the MTX4R is too heavy. I know that Kyosho made one for their sedan.

The 8 little plastic inserts are for the rear lower arm.... if you look closely it either has a hole perfectly in the middle with is the middle setting and the other should have the holes off center which is used as the highest or lowest arm setting depending on how you like the roll center...

The front lower arms are fixed. all roll center adjusments for the front is done through the upper arm shims....
