If you have the cash to spend over a million bucks on a car, gas milleage is not a concern lol. The people that have the ability to spend that kinda cash usually make what we spend a year in gas on our grocery getters in about 1 hour of work.
That car is amazing and has set the bar for a little while I am sure. But not for long...

AWSOME!!!!
Yes, that is fast, and the rally car was cool too........but you know why we love our r/c cars so much......
1/10th scale in true speed = 10x scale speed....
example.....when our cars are going 10mph that is equal to 100mph in scale. So, when we are doing 50mph, thats 500mph in scale speed.
remember the first time you hit the back straight and were afraid to hold the throttle wide open, you had to work your way up to it

What makes the car so great is that it actualy provides the luxury w/ the super car. Not to mention the car suposedly handles like a larger lotus elise. Yeah, there is also a street legal factory production car that has already topped that mark by about 20 m.p.h. If you guys are on a budget and want something differant then take a look at a kit car. A company called factory five and one called ultima both make wicked fast kits that will push the 230+ mph mark and run a sub 10.5 quarter mile. Something else that runs off a much more effecient engine. People are taking lotus elises and dropping a turbo charged hyabusa engine in to them. They produce 300-400 horse power and hit 60 in 3-4 seconds and top out at around 150+ mph depending on how much work is put in to the car. Think about driving a 400 horse power lotus on a tight road, endless power in that car and some of the best handling in the world.
