Default Where's all that good Orion stuff?

When?! Oh when will all those Orion goodies be available to everyone NOT in Japan? Tried Horizon, and my LHS. Nothing yet. Any clues?

I've heard that Orion has gotten in the new batteries for the micros but dont know when they are going to be released. It should be sometime soon though, and their mod motors are coming soon too. Thats just what I have been hearing.

Atleast the spped control units will be out in Jan or Feb. It all depends on their timing of release. But thats waht the orion people of japan said.

Nothing is too big for this car! I've seen some one mount a Rooster onto this thing!

Also the car takes normal size servos so you don't need to waste your money on a mini servo. The box standard Futaba S3003 (S148) is plenty good enough!

6 cells is much much more FUN!

The Orion speed control is designed for use in the Micro. It is already wired for the Micro .

When you guys say "box stock" class are you talking that everything is "outta the box" i.e. no oneways, no rear diffs, no different springs, no upraded chassis? Or are certain changes allowed? We're trying to figure out how to set classes up any info would help.

Thumbs up Good batteries!!

Hey all, I went to the local wal-mart and bought one of the ray-o-vac alkaline battery rechargers and those things work awesome! 1.5 volt rechargeable alkalines for 8 dollars 15 for the charger, good deal!!
I also bought some of the rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries and the car flies, even with a stock moror and 4 cells it is twice as fast as with alkalines.
Run time is about 25 minutes but if you buy 8 cells and run only them they will recharge in about 1 hour.
Just a little hint for all you people on a strict budget..
