Aaron likes itty bitty women. The shorter and stumpier the better!

Well, the $200 doesn't just include one night at the bar...that's over a month as an example. Plus you throw things in there like DUI tickets, increases in insurance rates, missing works because you're hungover, etc and the cost goes up exponentially. Worst case senario's of course

My wife loves it, over my old hobby... I dont shoot pool anymore, which means i dont drink and get dumb anymore.. I am proly the most retarded embarrassing drunk person you will ever see.. Not to mention, if i was off i could lose 500+ dollars a nite...Kinda hard to pay bills when most of your paycheck is in someone elses pocket.. At least when i lose at the track its only points LOL..

After 18 years of marriage & 6 children (two who are racing with me). It was either the hobby or her. Boy I am going to miss her.

My understanding of a hobby is that it is part of you, so if you do get married, or get into a relationship communication is important from the word go, that way your partner knows how you are.

Of course, there are hobbys that can take over your life (r/c is no exception!!!) and if you feel this is something that is happening you need to make a choice, or set yourself some limits.

However, some people do not realise something can take over their life until it is too late. it's these people who need to give themselves a swift kick in the privates to get a grip.

If you are married, or in a relationship you need to realise your own limits. Not just to a hobby, but to anything else that takes your time up, wether it be relatives, work or friends.

....Umm, I think i'll quit with the relationship advice and stick to r/c lol

My gf didn't like me doing any of my hobbies but I stressed to her that this is what makes me what I am, and she needed to accept it or we need to break up. I can fill my whole life with my hobbies if I had to, but I just had to make sure to spend enough time with her too. She finally gave up pressuring me about my hobbies because I wasn't changing my stance but at the same time she noticed I was fulfilling all my obligations to her.

I am trying to get her into my hobbies and I did see a little light at the end of the tunnel. I may be getting her into playing a video game with me and I think she genuinely enjoys it. Best of all we are spending time together too.
