Default 2007 ifmar offroad electric worlds

hey all:this is an offroad electric worlds year so what is the latest buzz as far as new or updated 2wd and 4wd buggies go?also why haven't 2wd race trucks ever been added to the ifmar offroad electric worlds?is it simply that they aren't that popular outside the usa?thanks for the info

you are correct about why there is no Ifmar truck class.

Wow still another 6 months until the worlds! That sucks! It will be a very interesting race this year for sure, 4wd will be very hotly contested.

No truck class cuz when the off-road ifmars started, there were just buggies. So now, its just a traditional thing to just have 2wd and 4wd buggy classes.

I can't wait for the worlds! The track location is sweet. Tracks in Japan always rule.

its not because its tradition, Trucks just are not as popular worldwide.

When the On-road ifmar worlds started, there were no touring car classes, yet they eliminated 1/10th pan car all together and run touring instead now. Tradition has nothing to do with it. Get your facts straight.

it is more that truck doesn't prove anything in driver performance. two wheel and four wheel really show much better what a driver is capable of. they are easier to drive then a buggy so what would it prove? also for time considerations is why they don't run truck either, the event is already a packed four day affair. it would add two more days to it.
