I kinda hope that they do use last year's 19T Spec. But I wouldn't be suprised if Reedy throws us a curve ball for the race.

p.s. I don't think rubbing is racing, it should be as clean as we can possible make it. However, I owe redubullfix one rubbing-rollover. Just don't cash in on it at the Reedy Race hehe.

Also, what was a good lap time from last year's Reedy Race in 19T Spec? Was it 13.9 or 14.9? Anybody remember? TIA

How was the spec motor from last year? How'd it compare to the Trinity Chamealeon? I seem to remember some of the guys around here saying they were a little slow. But that was awhile ago so I'm not sure.

Hi Guys,

It looks like right now, they will be using last years motor, because they have not order the new motor yet. I will check on it and if anything change, I'll let you guys know as soon as possible

has anyone heard the rumors that the track will be closed the whole month of may ( so that anyone running a tamyia car will not have an "advantage")

Is Fred going to test the scoring system for the Reedy Race this sat? How did the Tamiya Con go? Who won the tank battle?

Fred tested the scoring system several weeks ago and everything worked well. I wonder if he'll do one last final check before the Reedy cuz it was hella fun.

TamiyaCon was, well, TamiyaCon. It's like the TCS nationals but with plastic models and all I can say is that from this day forward, I officially give up on trying to do anything concourse related. These guys and their modeling skills are top notch and their models are of museum quality! Good stuff and a good show!

The tank battles were cool. At the end of the Battle Royal, there were two German Tigers ganging up on a lonely Sherman. Needless to say the Sherman got g-banged. Judging by the excitment of the spectators, the rc demos were definately fun to watch.
