Most of our regional/state level drivers do run the Rulux wheels, but a few of the top drivers have some type of mental block. I've actually asked Maifield this and he said it's a mental thing when running spokes. My guess is monkey see, monkey do...LOL

Some Mono 1/10th buggy wheels would be sweet. I'm also one of those mental defectives that only runs dish wheels.

*cough* RB5/ZX5/RT5 rulux wheels *cough*

Yes, I will have this cough looked at.

There are 4 different wheels for the Kyosho cars. There is a 2wd front, 4wd front, buggy rear and truck wheels(since the truck uses the same on all 4 corners).

We want JC Rulux wheels for our Kyoshos!

Maybe if you spell it right they will make you some "rulux" wheels.

LOL I must have the same mental block. I think the rulux wheels look sweet, but I can't imagine not running my white dish wheels. I did run the losi spokes back in the day. But then, the dish was "ugly"

Just busting your chops a little. Good to know someone can still take a joke on the internet.

RC racing is all about what is in "fashion". Just like all these hideous new 1/8th truck and buggy bodies. The fast guys are convinced the make the car work better. Unreal.

I never had this problem with proline bodies. does anyone recommend a different brand paint? I really want to get a manta body for my sc10 but not if the paint wont hold up

I had a team driver tell me the rulux rims rounded the tires slightly. That might make a difference on some level.

I also vote for the Kyosho style rulux rims -- because they would fit our TQ Racing SX10's!!!!!!!!

PS - the J Concepts guys were awesome getting me a quick order so we could test our prototype SC, the Goosebumps were great!!

i had a couple do that, but it was my fault. i get impatient sometimes when i paint.
make sure you wash out the inside with a drop of soap and some warm water. i've also started taking a super fine sandpaper and scuffing the inside of the body. and several thin layers of paint letting each one dry in between. the thin layers will dry faster anyways so it doesn't really take that much longer.

Very light steel wool works great for roughing up the inside of the body.
