Default SS5800 with bigger motor?

Hey guys, just wondering if its possible to run any of the more powerful novak motors on the ss5800 esc, its for an off road stadium truck, if it actually works, im guessing im looking at the thing being more likely to thermal, ive never thermalled the 5800 yet. I understand that the 5800 motor is an 8.5 so im just hoping to run a 7.5 or 6.5 off the esc, has anyone tried it?

thanks

you can only run the 5800 and 4300 with the ss+ and ss controller. if you want more you have to go to a Novak gtb or LRP sphere , mamba, tekin etc

Unfortunately loopedout is correct; that ESC maxed out with the 5800.

BTW, awesome username - some of the best punk ever...

Thanks looped, oh well, i'll get a better esc down the track

thanks kuzo, yeah, actually they came out to australia last week and i went and saw them, but to be honest, the gig wasnt that good, they didnt seem to play too many of the old favourites, so wasn't that impressed, i'm still a fan of all their older stuff, punk in drublic, white trash, ribbed, S & M airlines, the newer stuff doesnt do it for me much
