ICE CHARGER SETTINGS FOR M11 TRANSMITTER WITH 2400'S
DOES ANYBODY CHARGE THE M11 OR DX3 WITH THE ICE CHARGER? I had my LHS owner set up the settings to charge the tx with 2400's in them and it kept beepin saying the "voltage output is too high to charge this" or something like that. if anybody does use the ice to charge 2400's can you please put the settings in here right down the row for me please. otherwise that is a waste of $52 of rechargeables. kinda crappy if thats the case.

charge current 1 Amp
peak sens 3mv/cell
trickle off

in other hand, there is some issue around charging high capacity batts through the m11 cord.... check the m11 thread....

Ice charger for Tx
I use the Ice charger with a Futaba 3PJ super. I made up a DC lead with 2.5mm DC plug one end and banana plugs at the other. I use 1650mAh AA cells in a home made pack and fitted another AA cell in the handle, wired in series, total 9AA's.
I charge at 9x cells, 1600mAH cell capacity, 0.8A and a peak of 6mv. The ICE seems to have an internal step up function as input volts is 12V but output can be as much as 15+Volts. Charges beautifully, comes off just warm to the touch. Starting voltage is 12.4V and after a day racing never drops below 11.2V.
I have NEVER experienced ANY glitching as the Tx runs at almost full nominal voltage all the tme!

nielonsx- wow you got the hook-up,huh. wish you could rig something up like that for me!!! but i think i got it working properly but i had to set it at 1.3 amps, i have a dynamite 12v charger and it was reading 12.7v coming into power, is this bad?
