Help on the Tamiya TT01 Range

Hi, i already have a standard Tamiya TT01 with some new parts on the way, i want to get another one to use as a shelf queen/spare car if i have a problem with the one i have now.

What i want to know is would it be worth paying out for a TT01R or just getting another TT01? or i could pay abit more than the TT01 and get the TT01D what comes with the metal bearings, im not looking for a full car just a kit what i can build up more with the parts i get.

Thanks, Danny

TT01R is great value, oil shocks, metal dog bones, song blingy blue bits, bearings, adjustable arms and lighter screws as well as the GT 25 turn motor, downside is no ESC.

imho, the TT-01D versions has most of the hopup parts on the TT-01R and comes with better looking bodies. almost all of the special parts on the TT-01R are available as hopup upgrades for the TT-01 and TT-01 D Spec.

found a steering servo in the box my TT01 came in, forgot i had that, came with the transmiter, anyway the finial order is the same as in the last post but with the TT01 carbon upper deck, now i just need to wait till next week when i get paid!

keeping the TT01 i have now as a basher/rally car sort of thing anyone have any ideas of what to use to seal the gear boxes? and should i somehow cover the motor ESC and Reciver or shall i make some wheel archs for the front so no/less dirt gets thrown inside?

let me know
