new twist in the rules

New for 2007! Racers in either the Open Spec or Open Mod class may elect to use either 5 cells or 6 cells with no weight penalty. Cars equipped with 5 cells must have a minimum weight of 1450 Grams. 6 cell-equipped cars must meet a minimum weight of 1525 Grams

Mailed my entry this morning, soon as I saw the form. Hopefully it's like last year and they don't exceed the limit so no lottery.

First Reedy Race, first and last race at Aliso track.

Not looking forward to using the Reedy Quad Mag and RP30 tires, but hell everyone has to work with the same stuff.

A venue like X-Games would be great. Young crowd with disposable income and time on their hands. Also, with ESPN's dollars, the track could be nice visually. Compared to how much they spend on some of the events for set-up, it would be nothing. Carpet track indoors, 1/8th nitro outdoors.
