They are called receiver batteries...Typically you want a 5 cell hump pack 6v with at least 1400mA. This is the configuration you want:

Its just the fact that I just broke it in and then it gets ran over? Man it couldve been way worse the guy stopped with the tire on the car!

Exactly!!!!! Its over now and the damage is done but new fronts and pipe and fuel tank never hurt anything.. It was time for ne tires in the front anyways!!! It will be at optimum performance in 3 days

i havn't done any maitnence besides afterun oil in the engine.

should i be lubing/oiling or cleaning or what?

i havn't run it in dirt yet (just parking lots/streets)

If I'm bashing I really only clean/lube anything after every 3 or 4 bash sessions

If I'm racing, then i do a tear down and clean/lube after the finish of the race day.

With both:
I remove all bearings and clean n lube em.
Pull the arms, clean the hinge pins, and clean the hinge pin holders.
Pull the clutch bell and check the shoes and the clutch bearings
Take apart the engine and give it a once over to check for worn parts.
If I'm in the mood, I use this time to modify my diff oil setup and/or shock oil setup.


But then thats just me......
