Howards car wasn't that fast! My car was just slow! Motor issues.

Maybe after 4th of July I will be able to purchase some motors and bring my qualifying status up a few spots but until then I will be basically powerless.

Stock Tubs are better!

During the heats, I was never close enough to Howard to see how fast he was, but in practice his car was a bullet. It jumped out of the turns and on the strait, he pulled away from me like he had Nitrus.

Well, the results are in..........

I beat Brian, we were very very close, and brian broke on the second to last lap, i had about 2.5 secs at that time. (dogbone popped out) We were dicing for 2nd for like 4 minutes, we both made moves on eahc other cleanly, i think we need a round 2 for sure.

Axiom5B, I had a bad problem of the dogbone popping out of the front right when I was running a composite diff. You can fix this by using steel(AE) or aluminum outdrives(Niftech, IRS, TiR). I highly recommend you use IRS's pin cushions on the shafts if you use aluminum outdrives, IRS sells the shafts with them pre-installed($15-retail) or you can buy them and install them yourself. I thought of another fix for this and that is use AE's 200mm shafts but they might too long, I don't know. Hope this helps.

Ax, if you're going to run a spool, I wouldn't get IRS pin-cushions. Spools eat'm like candy. Niftech makes a product called swivels that are a lot more durable. I also heard another user say he used the Schumacher blades. Both greatly reduce wear on aluminum outdrives. The swivels won't come apart though under load. For Mod, I would invest in a set swivels. They're $20 for a pair. You really only need them up front. My .02
