simini80 - The new spool should take care of most of the spool issues. We find that the alloy drive shafts (U3020 $39.99) are harder to bend than the steel MIP ones (U2151 $44.99). For the last 2 months we have been selling the updated U3020's with stronger CV pins and and a new barrel for better pin support. They are very tough.
Will the new Spool be backwards compatible with the EC and the EC pulleys?

Default Geometry

What about the geometry from the MI3 - will it still be the same as the ECīs geometry or will there be major changes?
especially

-positioning of the shocks (length, angle)
-roll center position
-wheelbase
-width of the lower deck compared to the EC
-weight adjustment (same or new battery position, overall weight distribution)
-.............

Not 100% sure. I would just guess that when they actually get their 1st batch of production cars to sell I will get one then. It is pure speculation on my part. No matter when it will be worth the wait.

Everything on the new car will be different in the areas that you asked. The roll center positions will be different, wheelbase should be close to the same I think. As far as everything else, im not quite sure. This car was built from the ground up by Schumacher and iin no way, shape, or form resembles an MI2 EC. The only that are transferable to the new kit from the MI2 EC are:

Steering block
castor blocks
Arms( New arms will have new holes for sway bars, so old arms might be useless)
ball cups
turnbuckles
shocks
springs
diffs( But like Pw stated earlier, the new MI3 diff will have locked rings which will allow you to run a looser diff without it slipping).

one more small question (due to my poor understanding of mechanics),

how do you change the shock angles on this car?

hehe waiting for pics with the anti-roll bars on it too!

Thanks for the explanations!
