Default academy sb wheels

I have a bunch of losi xxx wheels/tires, would they fit on this buggy? If not what other brands would fit? I don't think my lhs carries mrc wheels.

The MRC cars use a hex style wheel similar to the schumacher offroad wheels. So Associated and Losi wheels wont fit.

The only wheels that will fit will be Academy wheels or Kyosho wheels. Most American style electric cars you a pin instead of a hex. Hope this helps.

Actually US wheels may work. Most cars that use a hex are still pinned on the axle. I'm not familiar with the Academy, but it may be the same. If this is the case then it is a matter of removing the hex to expose the pin. Then it is a matter of making sure the axle size is compatible. If the axle size on the car is smaller you are out of luck. If it is the same or larger you can drill it to fit. Then just pay attention to offset and you should be set.
You may also have to add some sort of shim, like the cone washer on an Associated car. It may be that the hex also braces the stub axle between the pin and the carrier. If you don't take care of this you won't like the results.

Mike,
No pin on the axle.
The axle is actually hex in shape.

That is correct, though, you may be able to mount your Academy wheels to your B4 buggy by using the hex. I heard this can be done.

The Academy wheels are really good and worth going with if you have the buggies.

You can also truggy your vehicle with traxxas rear wheels front and rear.
